St. Martin’s
Mantle
“I was naked and you clothed me”
-St. Matthew 25:36
Inspired by the example of St. Martin of Tours, who shared his cloak with a poor man in need, St. Martin’s Mantle is the parish clothing ministry of The Episcopal Catholic Church of Trenton.
Our Mission is simple and sacred: to clothe those in need, restore dignity, and offer a tangible expression of Christ’s mercy. Each coat, pair of gloves, and item of clothing is offered in prayer, love, and respect, recognizing Christ present in every person we serve.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Gently used and new clothing for all ages
Seasonal Items (coats, hats, gloves, scarves)
Socks and Undergarments (new)
Blankets and outerwear as available
Every item is received with prayer and care, recognizing the sacred dignity of those who will wear it.
WHY CLOTHING MATTERS
Scripture reminds us that clothing is tied to dignity, identity, and God’s provision.
God clothed Adam and Eve in Mercy (Genesis 3:21)
Christ’s garments were divided at the Cross (St. John 19:23-24)
In Baptism, we are clothed with Christ (Galatians 3:27)
Through St. Martin’s Mantle, we live out this call, offering warmth, protection, and hope.
